All of our technicians are TWIC certified. The Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC, is required by the Transportation Security Act for workers who need access to secure areas, regulated facilities, and the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. TSA conducts a security threat assessment (background check) to determine a person’s eligibility and issues the credential. Individuals who meet TWIC eligibility requirements are issued a tamper-resistant credential containing the worker’s biometric fingerprint to allow for a positive link between the card and the individual.
